Akelpad is a compact but comfortable and fast text editor. Akelpad can work with text documents, in single or multiple documents mode, fully supports Unicode on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, as well as the code page to Unicode. You can even edit the files with the read-only attribute, and view them before the opening. Among other features of the editor not to mention a multilevel system rollback, a list of recently open in the program documents, memorizing codepage for file, as well as the position of the insertion mark and last search/replace strings.
