Episode: The One Where Chandler Crosses the Line (4x7)
Episode Plot:
Chandler sees Kathy naked and feels like he is being tortured because he thinks she likes him too. Joey has a date with a different girl and Chandler sees his chance to talk Joey out of seeing Kathy anymore. Phoebe hears that Ross used to play the keyboard and has his own sound. Ross' "sound" is just a serious of feature sounds like ringing bells, glass crashing, helicopter sounds... Everybody hates it except Phoebe who makes Ross play his "music" in public. Kathy cuts Chandler's hair and they kiss. Chandler says they have to forget their feelings for each other for Joey's sake but Kathy can't do it. Ross plays at Central Perk and the place empties. Chandler buys new furniture for him and Joey and Chandler learns that Joey hasn't lost interest in Kathy but wants to make their relationship even stronger. Phoebe doesn't want to play music anymore because she thinks she could never measure up to Ross so Ross gives up his music for Phoebe. Chandler tells Joey that he kissed Kathy and that's why she broke up with Joey who is furious.

DESCRIPTION
Rachel Green, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay are all friends, living off of one another in the heart of New York City. Friends è una sitcom statunitense creata da David Crane e Marta Kauffman, trasmessa sul network televisivo americano NBC dal 1994 al 2004; sono state realizzate in tutto dieci stagioni. La serie ruota attorno ad un gruppo di sei amici (tre maschi, Ross, Chandler e Joey, e tre femmine, Rachel, Monica e Phoebe). La serie è stata prodotta dalla Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions in collaborazione con la Warner Bros. Television.
Kauffman e Crane iniziarono a sviluppare la sitcom sotto il titolo di Insomnia Cafe tra il novembre e il dicembre 1993. Presentarono l'idea a Bright, e insieme la proposero alla NBC. Dopo molti lavori e cambiamenti sulla sceneggiatura, includendo anche un cambio del titolo in Friends Like Us, la serie venne presentata come Friends.
Le riprese della sitcom avvennero agli Warner Bros. Studios a Burbank, California. La chiusura della serie, trasmessa il 6 maggio 2004, fu vista da circa 52,5 milioni di persone, diventando il quarto finale di una serie TV più visto della storia della televisione nonché l'episodio più visto del decennio.
