Il GGG è un gigante, un Grande Gigante Gentile, molto diverso dagli altri abitanti del Paese dei Giganti che come San-Guinario e Inghiotticicciaviva si nutrono di esseri umani, preferibilmente bambini. E così una notte il GGG – che è vegetariano e si ciba soltanto di Cetrionzoli e Sciroppio – rapisce Sophie, una bambina che vive a Londra e la porta nella sua caverna. Inizialmente spaventata dal misterioso gigante, Sophie ben presto si rende conto che il GGG è in realtà dolce, amichevole e può insegnarle cose meravigliose. Il GGG porta infatti Sophie nel Paese dei Sogni, dove cattura i sogni che manda di notte ai bambini e le spiega tutto sulla magia e il mistero dei sogni. L’affetto e la complicità tra i due cresce rapidamente, e quando gli altri giganti sono pronti a nuova strage, il GGG e Sophie decidono di avvisare nientemeno che la Regina d’Inghilterra dell’imminente minaccia, e tutti insieme concepiranno un piano per sbarazzarsi dei giganti una volta per tutte.
The GGG is a giant, a Big Giant Gentile, very different from the other inhabitants of the Land of Giants as San-Guinario and Inghiotticicciaviva feed on humans, preferably children. And so one night the GGG - that is vegetarian and only eats Cetrionzoli and Sciroppio - kidnaps Sophie, a girl who lives in London and takes her to his cave. Initially frightened by the mysterious giant, Sophie soon realizes that the DDD is actually gentle, friendly and wonderful things can teach. The GGG indeed leads Sophie in the Land of Dreams, which captures the dreams that sends at night to children and explained all about the magic and mystery of dreams. The affection and complicity between the two is growing rapidly, and when the other giants are ready to new massacre, the GGG and Sophie decide to notify none other than the Queen of England imminent threat, and together they conceive a plan to get rid the giants once and for all.
