DESCRIPTION
Tony Montana manages to leave Cuba during the Mariel exodus of 1980. He finds himself in a Florida refugee camp but his friend Manny has a way out for them: undertake a contract killing and arrangements will be made to get a green card. He's soon working for drug dealer Frank Lopez and shows his mettle when a deal with Colombian drug dealers goes bad. He also brings a new level of violence to Miami. Tony is protective of his younger sister but his mother knows what he does for a living and disowns him. Tony is impatient and wants it all however, including Frank's empire and his mistress Elvira Hancock. Once at the top however, Tony's outrageous actions make him a target and everything comes crumbling down.

Sulla scia dei profughi cubani in fuga dall'isola di Castro, arriva negli Stati Uniti Tony Montana, delinquente comune che tenta di spacciarsi per prigioniero politico, senza per altro riuscire ad ingannare la polizia statunitense. Dal campo profughi nel quale è internato, Tony comincia un'irresistibile ascesa nel mondo della malavita, grazie alla sua incredibile crudeltà e determinazione. La sua carriera americana comincia con l'assassinio di un anticastrista, poi con un'operazione di smercio di droga, portata felicemente a termine nonostante il bagno di sangue che è costata, ed è a questo punto che Tony, insieme all'inseparabile amico Manny, diviene il guardiaspalle di Lopez, trafficante di stupefacenti. Ma ben presto anche Lopez comincia ad andargli "stretto", anche perché Tony vuole a tutti i costi la donna del capo, Elvira, ed allora si mette in proprio concludendo un colossale affare con Sosa, produttore boliviano di cocaina. L'impero su cui adesso domina incontrastato, eliminato Lopez e sposata Elvira, sembra inattaccabile, ma anche per Tony cominciano i guai. Prima una denuncia per evasione fiscale, poi l'abbandono da parte di Elvira. Le preoccupazioni che gli dà la sorella Gina, cui è morbosamente attaccato, fanno vacillare la sua già psicopatica personalità.
In the wake of Cuban refugees fleeing from Castro Island, Tony Montana, a common criminal who attempts to serve as a political prisoner, comes to the United States without being able to deceive the US police. From the refugee camp in which he is interned, Tony begins an irresistible rise in the world of the underworld thanks to his incredible cruelty and determination. His American career begins with the assassination of an anti-astrologist, then with a drug trafficking operation happily completed despite the blood bath that has cost him, and at this point Tony, along with the inseparable friend Manny , becomes the guardian of Lopez, a drug trafficker. But soon Lopez also begins to "tighten", because Tony wants at all costs the boss's wife, Elvira, and then ends up finishing a colossal deal with Sosa, Bolivian cocaine producer. The empire on which he now dominates unquestionably, eliminated Lopez and married Elvira, seems unbeatable, but also for Tony's start the trouble. First a complaint for tax evasion, then abandonment by Elvira. The worry Gina's sister, who is morbidly attacked, makes her already psychopathic personality shaken.
