DESCRIPTION

Hardwar was released in 1998 and is a futuristic flight sim / space blaster / trading / adventure game. The Hardwar Universe is based in a network of interlinked craters on Titan, the sixth moon of Jupiter. You pilot a solar powered ship and your future is in your hands. You may start trading and then spot a tasty target and go for a bit of plundering, after which you will need to either bribe the police or suffer their wrath. Hardw[a]r is arguably the truest spiritual successor to the original Elite and thanks to recent patches supports full Direct3D. Unfortunately hardwar was vastly underrated and is now distributed as abandonware. Included are the two iso's and the latest stable patches.
