DESCRIPTION
A police raid in Detroit in 1967 results in one of the largest RACE riots in United States history. The story is centred around the Algiers Motel incident, which occurred in Detroit, Michigan on July 25, 1967, during the racially charged 12th Street Riot. It involves the death of three black men and the brutal beatings of nine other people: seven black men and two white women.

La storia è ispirata alle sanguinose rivolte che sconvolsero Detroit nel 1967. La rivolta successiva portò a disordini senza precendenti constringendo cosi', ad una presa di coscienza su quanto accaduto durante quell'ignobile giorno di cinquant'anni fa.
The story is inspired by the bloody revolts that shook Detroit in 1967. Among the streets of the city there was a real police pear massacre, in which three African Americans lost their lives and hundreds of people were seriously injured. The subsequent uprising led to unprecedented unrest, thus constricting an awareness of what happened during that wretched day of fifty years ago.
