Amori, affari, ansie, amicizie, faide e rancori, dipingono il quadro della vicenda principale, quella di un gruppo di criminali che per quasi quindici anni, dal 1977 al 1992, ha accarezzato un'illusione: quella di conquistare l'incontrollabile Roma. Il Libanese, il Freddo, il Dandi, Patrizia, il commissario Scialoja sono alcuni dei personaggi ispirati alla vera storia della banda della Magliana.
Come affermato da Aldo Grasso, la prima stagione della serie dà più spazio alla scena del crimine, ovvero alle imprese criminose della banda della Magliana, mentre nella seconda stagione viene approfondito il "retroscena" del crimine: si ha quindi un riposizionamento della banda in base alla morte del Libanese, e agli effetti e interrogativi che questa ha provocato nella coscienza dei protagonisti.
Love, business, anxieties, friendships, feuds and rancor, paint the picture of the main story, that of a group of criminals who for almost fifteen years, from 1977 to 1992, has caressed an illusion: that of conquering the uncontrollable Rome. The Lebanese, the Freddo, the Dandi, Patrizia, the commissioner Scialoja are some of the characters inspired by the true history of the Magliana band.
As stated by Aldo Grasso, the first season of the series gives more space to the crime scene, or the criminal enterprises of the Magliana band, while in the second season the "backstory" of crime is deepened: there is therefore a repositioning of the band based to the death of the Lebanese, and to the effects and questions that this has provoked in the conscience of the protagonists.
