DESCRIPTION
Hosts Mike Brewer and Edd China team up in "Wheeler Dealers" to find and flip serviceable used classic cars. Mike scours the Internet and local trade rags for bargain-priced modern classics needing attention. Edd China applies the elbow grease to bring the cars up to a nearly new condition, allowing Mike to "sell them on" for a profit.
Series Plot: Wheeler Dealers is a television show on the Discovery network, fronted by Mike Brewer and mechanic Edd China.
The show's premise is that Brewer and China are on a mission to save repairable enthusiast vehicles, by repairing or otherwise improving an example of a particular make and model to a budget, then selling it to a new owner. Each project spans a pair of 30-minute episodes, in which Mike buys a vehicle, turns it over to Edd for repairs, then sells it on. For the first series the budget was £1,000 for series 2, £2,000 and for series 3 £3,000.
Episode plot: Mike finds a true Swedish Unicorn of the car world- a '95 Volvo 850 T-5R. A station Wagon with a racing pedigree. Unfortunately the turbo in the T-5R is in need of TLC and some left-field thinking is needed from both guys to solve the bodywork issues.
