DESCRIPTION
Elise (Angelina Jolie) sits next to an American tourist, Frank (Johnny Depp), on a train going to Venice. She has chosen him as a decoy, making believe that he is her lover who is wanted by police. Not only will they need to evade the police, but also the mobster whose money her lover stole.

Elise Clifton-Ward, an extraordinary woman, is being followed by French police who are working with Scotland Yard under the direction of Inspector John Acheson. Acheson is hunting Alexander Pearce, a lover of Elise, who owes £744 million in back taxes. Elise receives instructions from Pearce to board the train to Venice; pick out a man; let the police believe that he is Pearce. On the train, Elise selects Frank Tupelo, an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise deliberately crosses Frank's path and the story begins.
