DESCRIPTION
High profile lawyer Mark Hunter has an impeccable record putting criminals behind bars and is a shoo-in for governor in the upcoming election. But when ambitious rookie journalist, C.J. OPIS
Film nakręcony na podstawie noweli Larry’ego Beinharta o tym samym tytule. Charyzmatyczny kaznodzieja Dan Day (Pierce Brosnan) stoi na czele potężnego, chrześcijańskiego ruchu wyznaniowego. Podlegają mu wspólnoty na rozległych terenach, które dokładnie kontroluje. Jedynym nieprzyjemnym elementem zakłócającym jego sielankowe życie jest wścibski ateista i profesor uniwersytecki, dr Paul Blaylock (Ed Harris), otwarcie szydzący z kaznodziei i wyzywający go na serię debat.
