OPIS
Sezon 2: Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), oskarżony o zbrodnie popełnione przez Hannibala Lectera (Mads Mikkelsen), przebywa na zamkniętym oddziale szpitala psychiatrycznego. Will, który poznał już prawdziwe oblicze Hannibala, musi dowieść, że jest poczytalny i przekonać najbliższe mu osoby o swojej niewinności. Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) targany jest sprzecznymi uczuciami w stosunku do Willa - zastanawia się, czy jego protegowany rzeczywiście byłby zdolny zabijać z zimną krwią. W poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na te pytania Jack zwraca się do osoby, która zaskarbiła sobie jego zaufanie. Jest to Hannibal Lecter. Ponieważ Will przebywa w areszcie szpitalnym, Hannibal zostaje nowym konsultantem Jacka. Z jednej strony Hannibalem kieruje instynkt samozachowawczy, lecz z drugiej pragnie utrzymać kontakt z Willem, nawet wbrew zaleceniom swojej terapeutki, Bedelii du Maurier (Gillian Anderson). W tym sezonie śmiertelnie niebezpieczna gra, którą prowadzą bohaterowie, przyjmuje szokujący i niespodziewany obrót - teraz nic już nie będzie takie jak dawniej.
