Фильм бы мог стать одним из многих фильмов о том, как иногда достаёт жизнь и хочется убежать куда-нибудь. Но чёткий монтаж, выразительная операторская работа и скромная, но уверенная, режиссура и актёрская игра всё же выделяет этот фильм из ряда таких работ. Интересно также и то, что этот фильм – срез Франции перед Красным маем 1968 года.
