DESCRIPTION
World War II. Nazi-occupied Ukraine. Germans set up a camp called "Hope", a site of medical experiments on children. Twins are designated as experimental subjects. So when one of the twins, Petya, escapes from the camp, the Germans raise an alarm, trying to find the runaway. The life of the entire village turns to hell: partisans need to consider their hide-outs with extreme prudence, locals are suffering from inspections and local police are doing their best to find the escapee. The plot reveals Petya's life as well as a love story of a young couple. Under the constant threat of death, deceived and desperate, the characters will display an immense capacity for resistance.

О фильме:
Во время войны на оккупированной территории организован фильтрационный немецкий лагерь «Надежда», где проводят опыты над детьми. Особой ценностью считаются близнецы – самый ценный материал для опытов. И когда из лагеря удается бежать одному из близнецов, немцы поднимают тревогу, пытаясь отыскать сбежавшего мальчишку. Это усложняет жизнь и жителям ближайшего села, и партизанскому отряду, и даже местным полицаям. В центре развития событий жизнь маленького Пети и трогательная история любви молодой пары – полицая Андрея и дочки старосты Нины. Герои раз за разом сталкиваются со смертью близких, противостоянием, недоверием и обманом. Те, кто еще вчера были друзьями, становятся самыми опасными врагами, а те, кому вчера не подали бы руки, откроются с новой стороны.
