The film is set in the 1930s. Three prisoners flee from a mission in the Mississippi. One of these is a 27-year-old boy who has unjustly spent 7 years in prison, and who now wishes to prove his innocence and spend the rest of his life in a cabin in the mountains with his beloved Kitty. But the other two criminals involve him in their raids and soon the police believe that the young man has become the leader of the gang ......
