DESCRIPTION
When Marino goes to Rome for an event, he certainly does not expect to meet Marisa, who will become the love of his life. But once they find each other, the difficulties begin: first his father opposes it; then after his father's death, gossips make Marino believe that Marisa was no good, and Marisa runs away. Repentant Marino searches for her in vain, and by the time he finds her, she's Mrs. Ciceri. But love admits no obstacles, not even a deaf-mute husband.

Marino Balestrini, un barbiere di Alatri, si invaghisce di Marisa Di Giovanni, conosciuta durante una manifestazione folkloristica a Roma. Mario si trasferisce a Sacrofante, nelle Marche, il paese di Marisa, e la conquista. Avendo, però, il padre di lei negato il consenso alle nozze, i due decidono di suicidarsi sotto a un treno, ma il macchinista sventa il proposito.
Marino Balestrini, a barber of Alatri, falls in love with Marisa Di Giovanni, known during a folkloristic event in Rome. Mario moved to Sacrofante, in the Marche, the town of Marisa, and conquered it. However, having her father denied consent to the wedding, the two decide to commit suicide under a train, but the driver foils the proposal.
