Нью-Йорк, 1855 год. Знаменитым преступникам братьям Далтонам придется в очередной раз предстать перед судом. Однако четверо негодяев сбегают и начинают один за одним грабить городские банки. После сумасшедшего преследования бандитов по всей Америке Счастливчику Люку удается арестовать Далтонов, однако Джо Далтон умудряется незаметно припрятать награбленное в фургоне поселенцев, которым за 80 дней необходимо добраться до Калифорнии, чтобы занять землю.
