О фильме:

Такаки Тоно с детства был близок с Акари Синохарой, но в средней школе они вынуждены расстаться из-за переезда семьи Акари в другой город.

Несмотря на разлуку, дружба лишь крепнет, подростки живут не слишком далеко друг от друга и часто переписываются по почте. Однако наступает момент, когда уже семья Такаки должна переехать, и Акари с Такаки решают встретиться возможно в последний раз. Но зима Японии путает планы, из-за бурана рейсы поездов сильно задерживаются...

Проходят годы, с течением времени увядают и отношения, переписка становится все реже, и Такаки с Акари все сильнее отдаляются друг от друга. Остаются лишь тени воспоминаний о детстве, и слабая надежда когда-нибудь встретиться снова...
