О фильме:

Мэр небольшого города попался на взятке и в качестве меры пресечения ему назначен домашний арест по месту прописки. Коллизия в том, что, чтобы казаться скромнее, чиновник прописан не в своем особняке, а в коммунальной квартире, в которой когда-то родился и вырос. Так он попадает в коммунальный ад своей старой квартиры. Он больше не главный и сам в свою очередь оказывается во власти простых обитателей коммуналки.
