DESCRIPTION
In the aftermath of the September, 11th, in China, the American student Linda Sykes is interrogated by the military Liu Tsung-Yuan. In New York, the Arab student Sharif Bin Said is interrogated by the FBI agent Karen Moore. The psychological methods of interrogation are the same, amicable in the beginning and brutal in the end; but there is no evidence that the students are terrorists. Must security and safety of the State come at the price of freedom?

Майкл Парэ в роли полицейского из отдела нравов. Его нанимает таинственная красавица, чтобы он нашел ее падчерицу. Мачеха, понимаете ли, хочет отдать той долю наследства недавно скончавшегося отца. За это она платит Майклу 10 тысяч баксов, которые очень нужны его родному брату, чтобы заплатить игорные долги и остаться в живых. Начинается фильм весьма энергично - Парэ заходит в китайский ресторан и устраивает массовый расстрел местных мафиози. Зрителю ясно дают понять, что Майкл не самый честный полицейский в мире. Потом он начинает искать сбежавшую наследницу, работающую по стриптиз-клубам. Если бы он знал, к чему приведет это безобидное с виду дело, то к имеющимся постоянно при себе двум пистолетам добавил бы еще парочку... (Иванов М.)
