DESCRIPTION
On an ordinary day, the Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra arrives in Israel from Egypt for a cultural event, only find there is no delegation to meet them, nor any arrangements to get to their destination of Petah Tiqva. When they find their own ride, they arrive instead at the remote town of Beit Hatikva. Stuck there until the next morning's bus, the band, lead by the repressed Tawfiq Zacharaya, gets help from the worldly lunch owner, Dina, who offers to put them up for the night. As the band settles in as best it can, each of the members attempts to get along with the natives in their own way. What follows is a special night of quiet happenings and confessions as the band makes its own impact on the town and the town on them.

1280 X 720 H.264 video @5988 video bitrate 448k Dolby 6ch AC3 (mainly) English audio with some Arabic and Hebrew spoken parts subs found and re-synced in some cases to match this HD version for Albanian Danish Dutch English Farsi French Greek Hebrew Hungarian Italian Polish Portuguese Serbian Spanish and Turkish. Arabic subs on the net seemed stored by the sites apparently in the wrong format (Western letters character set) rather than "unicode" and were unusable as a result (same with Bulgarian subs we found) (Often also happens with Hebrew Greek and Russian etc) Sorry...

Added observation: In what ensues, the locals are happily surprised at the good spirited human nature of their visiting crowd, and the prospect of romance seems interesting to consider between the Band leader and a woman of Jewish descent among the locals there.
