La sua unica mostra di successo, celebrazione di una pittura che rappresenta le inquietudini e i desideri dell’uomo.
1918. While the explosions of the First World War are dying out, in Vienna, in the heart of Central Europe, a golden age is now at sunset. The Austro-Hungarian Empire begins to disintegrate. It's October 31st. That night, in the bed of his house, Egon Schiele, one of the 20 million victims caused by the Spanish influence, dies. He goes away looking at the invisible evil, as only he can do: painting it. He is 28 years old. Only a few months earlier, the main hall of the Secession building had opened to his works: 19 oils and 29 drawings. His only successful exhibition, a celebration of a painting that represents the anxieties and desires of man.
