Сюжет фильма

Тед Крамер, целиком посвятив себя карьере, не замечает того, что происходит в собственной семье. Поэтому от него уходит жена, оставляя незадачливого отца заботиться о шестилетнем сыне.

Теперь Крамер старший должен выступить в непривычной роли: ему предстоит ухаживать за Крамером младшим, проводить с ним больше времени и, наконец, попытаться проникнуть в хрупкий и ранимый мир ребенка.
