The software has been designed as universal software for security cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and distant computers. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the program via network that surveillance pc can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition extensively increases reliability because all components act as autonomous software. If one unit fails, other components keep on running. For example if the `capture` unit freezes, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` part. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart server via Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
