Often, the highlight of the MSNBC broadcast day is Rachel Maddow's hand-off to

Lawrence O'Donnell. You can learn a lot in the brief conversations these two

veterans have about the news of the day. Unfortunately, MSNBC ALWAYS

edits the hand-off OUT of the streamed versions of the two shows!

Tonight: Lawrence starts off teasing Rachel about the sign-off she just used,

"Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel", wondering aloud how DATED that is (55 Years),

and if today's college students would understand the reference (they won't).

Rachel responds, in her defense, that the reference to"Bat-Time" and

"Bat-Channel" will be understood for eons... When soon afterwards, it seems

Rachel's AUDIO FEED from Lawrence has died! 8o

She uses the universal sign language of "I can't hear you!"... after which the

control room chooses to CUT RACHEL'S VIDEO FEED!! Despite Lawrence PLEADING with

the Control Room to at least BRIEFLY restore Rachel's video feed, for some

semblance of a graceful exit, they refuse(!) for some reason! As Lawrence points

out: "We like seeing her!" ♥
