О фильме:

Одесса, осаждённая гитлеровскими захватчиками, осталась без воды: немцы заняли близлежащее село, в котором находится водонапорная станция. Нужно во что бы то ни стало спасти жителей, хотя бы на несколько часов дать городу воду.

Попытка высадить в село десант оказалась неудачной. Командование посылает матроса Безбородько, знающего немецкий язык, снабдив его документами захваченного в плен гитлеровского офицера. Вслед за ним линию фронта переходит и весь отряд...
