DESCRIPTION

Che cosa stava pensando Mark Whitacre? Astro nascente della Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), multinazionale dell’industria agroalimentare, Whitacre (Matt Damon) diventa improvvisamente informatore ai danni della società per la quale lavora. Anche mentre collabora con l’FBI, passando informazioni in merito a una frode sul controllo dei prezzi, Whitacre si immagina di venir acclamato come un eroe e premiato con una promozione. Ma prima che ciò possa accadere, l’FBI ha bisogno di prove. Whitacre accetta quindi con entusiasmo di indossare un microfono e infilare in borsa un registratore, figurandosi già nei panni di una sorta di agente segreto. Sfortunatamente per l’FBI, il loro testimone principale non è così intraprendente da sapersi introdurre nelle casse della società.
