Вот уже три десятилетия гитарист из немецкого Бохума работает, как швейцарские часы, стабильно выпуская забойные альбомы, тепло встречаемые критиками. На счету музыканта более 1,7 млн. проданных дисков, а его предыдущий альбом “Knights Call” (2018) попал в Топ-10 немецких национальных чартов и на текущий момент имеет 2,6 млн. прослушиваний. Однако важно не количество, а качество, и в этом отношении он всегда стабилен. Все чаще в отношении Акселя можно услышать слово “культ”. И действительно, если кто-то пользуется успехом столь длительное время, то он его заслуживает.

59-летний гитарист хорошо знает свои способности, однако он до сих пор может удивлять себя, как это произошло в случае с “Sign Of The Times”. "Я не знаю, почему, но я закончил все песни как минимум на месяц раньше срока”, - говорит он.
