DESCRIPTION

Doc Holliday, ex dentista e giocatore di professione, dedito all'alcool, e Wyatt Earp, austero sceriffo, sono legati da una salda, inconfessata amicizia, da quando Wyatt ha salvato Doc da un tranello tesogli da un fuorilegge. A Dodge City, dove Wyatt esercita il suo ufficio, Doc ha ben presto occasione di ricambiare il favore, aiutando lo sceriffo ad uscire da una precaria situazione. D'altra parte, l'amicizia di Wyatt ha un'influenza benefica sullo spirito e la condotta di Doc, il quale impara a rispettare scrupolosamente la legge e non reagisce con atti inconsulti alle provocazioni di Ringo, un poco di buono associato ai Clanton, una famiglia di fuorilegge. Neppure quando Ketty, la ragazza che ha sempre vissuto al suo fianco, della quale egli ricambia l'affetto, l'abbandona per Ringo, Doc si lascia trascinare.....
