Il film ha avuto poi ben quattro sequel: Final Destination 2 (2003), Final Destination 3 (2006), The Final Destination 3D (2009) e Final Destination 5 (2011). Gli incassi del franchise hanno decretato un ottimo successo al botteghino per quasi tutte le pellicole della saga diventata un cult di genere.
