DESCRIPTION

Curiosità
* Il regista Ji-woon Kim, originariamente voleva Jun Ji-hyun per il ruolo Su-mi, ma l'attrice rifiutò la parte, perché riteneva che la sceneggiatura del film fosse troppo spaventosa e violenta.
* Su-jeong Lim (Su-mi) originariamente doveva interpretare il ruolo di Su-yeon (Poi dato a Geun-yeong Mun).
* L'attrice Geun-yeong Mun ha festeggiato il suo 17º compleanno sul set dove si girava il film. Infatti nei contenuti extra del DVD, si può assistere ad una piccola festa preparata dalla troupe, con tanto
di torta e candeline. L'evento è avvenuto poco prima che le riprese fossero finite, dal momento che Geun-yeong Mun compie gli anni il 6 maggio e il film è stato rilasciato il 13 giugno 2003.

Dopo aver passato un lungo periodo in un istituto per malattie mentali a seguito della morte della madre, le due sorelle Bae Soo-yeon e Bae Soo-mi, fanno ritorno a casa, dove ad attenderle, oltre al padre, c'è
anche la sua nuova compagna, la giovane Eun-Joo. Nonostante le apparenti buone intenzioni iniziali della donna nei confronti delle ragazze, il clima fra loro e la matrigna è tesissimo. Inoltre in casa, sembra
esserci una presenza inquietante, di cui solo le ragazze sembrano accorgersi. Il padre, dal canto suo, sembra ignorare completamente le richieste d'aiuto delle figlie, come se intorno a lui non stesse accadendo
assolutamente nulla.
