10-bit 1080p HEVC + FLAC, MKV format. ~ 1.1 GB / EP.
This anime has very good image quality - quite modern-looking despite that it was made a decades ago. The production team did a good job in terms of preventing colour banding. As an early adopter of the cel-shading technology, there aren't too many aliases, except for some 3D models far in the background, which show some signs of minor edge flickering. As with most anime, some background textures also have a little bit of aliasing. PP targeted these aliasing issues accordingly. We encoded the series with relatively high-quality parameters.
