DESCRIPTION

Desperate Housewives, o Desperate Housewives - I segreti di Wisteria Lane, è una serie televisiva statunitense ideata da Marc Cherry e trasmessa per la prima volta dalla rete televisiva ABC nel 2004.
Ambientata nel quartiere fittizio di Wisteria Lane, nella città anch'essa immaginaria di Fairview, la serie tratta delle vite di quattro casalinghe che combattono le loro battaglie domestiche sullo sfondo di molti misteri che sconvolgono l'apparente tranquillità della ricca periferia borghese americana. Il tono e lo stile della serie combina elementi di dramma, commedia, giallo, satira, e soap opera.
La serie, dapprima rifiutata da molte reti televisive, ha scalato la classifica degli ascolti sin dal primo episodio.
