あらすじ
ある事件で車椅子生活となった鬼塚一路(北大路欣也)は定年後、新宿東署に再任用された。ある日、新宿区・須賀町で粕汁の集団食中毒事件が発生。鬼塚は記憶を遡り、毒物が保管されている『新宿マキタ鉄鋼』に遠山咲（上白石萌音）を向かわせる。保管されていたはずの毒物はなくなっており、疑いの目は『新宿マキタ鉄鋼』経営者の妻・蒔田紀子に向けられる。
一方、刑事官の神啓太郎（風間俊介）は、管理官・橘修平（深澤辰哉）と捜査方針を巡って対立する……。令和の女殺人鬼を相手に、鬼塚が昭和と平成の記憶を武器に、難事件を解決に導いていく。
