DESCRIPTION
May 9, 1945. On the square of the small town of Insterburg in East Prussia, this day is met by Rokotov, Elagina and Fedorenko. They rejoice together with all the soldiers of the Red Army. О фильме:
9 мая 1945 года. На площади маленького городка Инстербурга в Восточной Пруссии этот день встречают Рокотов, Елагина и Федоренко. Они ликуют вместе со всеми бойцами Красной Армии. Война кончилась! Горожане жмутся к домам – кто-то из них плачет, а кто-то вздыхает с облегчением. На площади тут же возникает импровизированная танцплощадка, молодой лейтенант играет на пианино прямо в центре площади. Все переворачивается в один миг, когда с крыши одного из домов по площади начинает стрелять пулемет… А потом… Потом начинаются будни военной прокуратуры на оккупированной территории – убийства, ограбления, кражи. И конечно, немецкая агентура, сменившая хозяев, но не сменившая врага. И порой кажется, что война еще не кончилась. Что для окончательной победы надо сделать еще один шаг, а потом еще один, и еще…
