О фильме:

Где-то в баскской глуши рядом с деревней живет дьявольский кузнец. Все жители уверены, что он — зло во плоти, и подходить к его жилищу нельзя ни в коем случае. Но дети есть дети, и вредные мальчишки, издеваясь над местной сиротой, отрывают её кукле голову и забрасывают через забор к дому кузнеца. Девочка пробирается на запретную территорию. Как раз в это время приезжий чиновник убеждает местных жителей, что кузнец в своём доме прячет золото.
