Дополнительная информация: Vance Kelly (родился 24 января 1954 г.) - американский соул-блюз певец и гитарист, который регулярно выступает на различных музыкальных площадках в районе Чикаго, главными из которых являются 1815, Checkerboard Lounge, Rosa's Lounge, Kingston Mines, Buddy Guy's Legends и B.L.U.E.S. В 1987 году Kelly пригласили стать участником группы саксофонистов A.C. Reed. Пребывание Kelly в этой группе повлияло на его вокальный стиль, позволив ему улучшить свои навыки игры на гитаре и получить нужный опыт. Однако, после трёх лет работы с группой A.C. Reed, Kelly решил выступать самостоятельно. Одной из причин этого решения было его стремление развивать свой собственный стиль, который стал характеризоваться как смесь электрического блюза, R&B, фанка и диско. Kelly сформировал Backstreet Blues Band вскоре после того, как ушёл из A.C. Reed и подписал контракт с австрийской студией Wolf Records в 1992 году. В состав группы так же вошли: John Primer (гитара), David Honeyboy (губная гармошка), Eddie Shaw (саксофон), Erskine Johnson (клавишные) и Johnny Reed (бас-гитара).
