DESCRIPTION
Markus, a deployed military man, has to go home to his teenage daughter, Mathilde, when his wife dies in a tragic train accident. It seems to be plain bad luck - but it turns out that it might have been a carefully orchestrated assassination, which his wife ended up being a random casualty of.

Markus, militare in prima linea, è costretto a far ritorno a casa dalla figlia adolescente Mathilde quando sua moglie muore in un tragico incidente ferroviario. Tutto sembra andare per il verso sbagliato fino a quando in casa dell'uomo non si presenta Otto, un genio della matematica, con i suoi due eccentrici colleghi Lennart ed Emmenthaler. Otto era uno dei passeggeri del treno ed è convinto che dietro all'incidente vi sia qualcosa di poco chiaro. Mentre gli indizi si accumulano, a Markus diventa chiaro che l'incidente potrebbe essere il risultato di un omicidio attentamente orchestrato di cui sua moglie ha finito per essere una vittima casuale.
