DESCRIPTION
When an adopted fox and a to-be hunting hound become inspepearable friends as pups, their friendship grows stronger every day in their "childhood." But as they grow older, they grow farther and farther apart, to the day when the two old comrades bond is put the ultimate test.

Frey, een vossenjong, wordt van zijn moeder gescheiden en door een oude boerin in huis genomen. In de buurt woont een boer die Frank, een jachthondpup, heeft gekocht. Tegen de wil van de boer in spelen Frank en Frey elke dag met elkaar. Maar als de boer in de herfst op jacht gaat, neemt hij Frank mee om een echte jachthond van te maken. Frey is triest dat hij zijn vriendje moet laten gaan, en als hij in de lente terugkomt, is Frank niet meer de hond die Frey zich herinnert.
Storyline
A young fox named Tod is taken in by an old woman after his mother is killed by a hunter. Full of mischief, Young Tod befriends Copper, a hound dog pup. As they grow up, however, their friendship becomes endangered by what they have become; Copper is a hunting dog, and Tod is his prey.
