DESCRIPTION
The series follows the lives of both the family and the servants in the London townhouse at 165 Eaton Place. Richard Bellamy, the head of the household, is a member of Parliament, and his wife a member of the titled aristocracy. Belowstairs, Hudson, the Scottish butler directs and guides the other servants about their tasks and (sometimes) their proper place. Real-life events from 1903-1930 are incorporated into the stories of the Bellamy household.

Enjoy this best look at evolving now, British culture in the main over the centuries including the so-called upper and their servants together under one roof under the kind seeming stewardship apparently of Lord Bellamy played by Sir David Langton himself.
1080p H.264 video @5000k video bitrate (the best print made available to us thus far - far outstrips the DVD versions we spent hundreds on over the years - what with the A&E disc set version we donated to the library to get them going, the Acorn set we got subtitles from initially before editing them all to provide a perfect set for all these versions ,we have posted previously for you plus the Granada/Network version we ordered on amazon and had shipped from Germany for you back then too) finally now, much more decent quality video in 1080p along with full 224k Dolby Ac3 stereo audio and all five episodes of program extras "The story of Upstairs Downstairs" plus more including a complete set of subtitles on the net which we perfected by watching every single moment of this series from start to end, seeming years ago now.
Nice folder of 320k mp3 format lovely songs from the program and from the era generally speaking I'd say!!
