Two CIA operatives, and former lovers, reunite at idyllic Carmel-by-the-Sea to re-examine a mission six years ago in Vienna where a fellow agent might have been compromised.
Henry e Celia sono stati amanti ma soprattutto colleghi, avendo lavorato insieme come spie della CIA a Vienna. Un giorno decidono di rincontrarsi, andando a cena insieme per rivangare i vecchi tempi; la conversazione finisce sul terribile dirottamento del volo 127 di Royal Jordanian, terminato con la morte di tutti i passeggeri, caso che ancora tormenta la CIA nel presente.
