La ricerca, irta di sfide e ostacoli insormontabili quasi quanto le pareti del Labirinto, metterà a dura prova l'amicizia e i legami creati tra i ragazzi. Soprattutto quello tra il giovane protagonista e l'enigmatica Teresa (Kaya Scodelario). L'uscita del film, ritardata dall'incidente sul set che ha interessato l'attore Dylan O'Brien, è prevista in Italia per il 1 febbraio 2018.
