DESCRIPTION

Ispirato a eventi realmente accaduti, Revenant - Redivivo è una storia epica sul tema della sopravvivenza e della trasformazione, sullo sfondo della frontiera americana. Costretti a lasciare il territorio incontaminato e sconosciuto del Nord Dakota dove stavano cacciando pelli e pellicce a causa di un attacco indiano che li ha decimati, i sopravvissuti della spedizione si affidano al leggendario esploratore Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) per trovare una via di fuga sicura e tornare al loro forte. Le scelte di Glass, e la necessità di abbandonare nei boschi le pelli e il guadagno che rappresentano, suscitano l'ostilità del rude John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Quando Glass viene ridotto in fin di vita dall'attacco di un'orsa, e il gruppo è costretto a separarsi, Fitzgerald abbandona il ferito al suo destino, considerandolo spacciato. Ma, nonostante le feriti mortali e la solitudine, Glass riesce a non soccombere....
