DESCRIPTION

As the centennial of the small town of Antonio Bay, California approaches, paranormal activity begins to occur at midnight. 100 years ago, the wealthy leper Blake bought the clipper ship Elizabeth Dane and sailed with his people to form a leper colony. However, while sailing through a thick fog, they were deliberately misguided by a campfire onshore, steering the course of the ship toward the light and crashing it against the rocks. While the town's residents prepare to celebrate, the victims of this heinous crime that the town's founders committed rise from the sea to claim retribution. Under cover of the ominous glowing fog, they carry out their vicious attacks, searching for what is rightly theirs.

Against the backdrop of spine-chilling stories of drowned mariners and a 100-year-old shipwreck lying on the bottom of the sea, the peaceful coastal town of Antonio Bay, California is making preparations to celebrate its centennial. However--as strange supernatural occurrences blemish the festivities--a dense fog starts to shroud the seaside town, leading to unaccountable disappearances. A century ago, a hideous crime was committed by the town's elders. Now, the restless dead have returned for revenge. Is there something evil lurking in the fog?

Mentre la cittadina californiana di Antunio Bay si appresta a celebrare il proprio centenario in festeggiamenti di cui Kathy Williams è la patronessa, un banco di nebbia luminosa avvolge un peschereccio (che verrà trovato con i tre uomini d'equipaggio uccisi) e si avvicina minaccioso alla città. Stevie Wayne, giovane annunciatrice della locale emittente radiofonica KAYB, dal faro osserva il luminoso banco e lancia appelli che inizialmente non vengono ascoltati. Solo Nick Machen, un autista che ha dato un passaggio a Elizabeth Solley, avendo assistito a misteriose aggressioni, è convinto che nella nebbia si nasconda qualcosa. Nel frattempo, padre Malone, trovato il diario del nonno, vi trova tutta la spiegazione: cento anni prima, esattamente nella notte tra il 20 e il 21 aprile del 1880, i fondatori della cittadina, dopo menzognere promesse di soccorso, provocarono il naufragio di sei lebbrosi imbarcati sul veliero "Elizabeth Dane" per derubarli di una ingente quantità di oro, che, fuso e trasformato in una massiccia croce, è stato nascosto tra le mura della chiesa locale.....
