Светлое будущее, где что-то пошло не так. Мир погряз в Интернете и передовом протезировании. Каждое человеческое существо считает своим святым долгом вставить в уши антенны от Wi-Fi роутера, сделать пластическую операцию под Рикки Мартина или хотя бы залить в себя лимонад "Буратино" вместо крови. Между тем, в недрах могущественной корпорации тайно разрабатывается особый военизированный имплант, фактически не оставляющий в организме подопытного ни одного живого места. Получившийся в результате эксперимента гибрид зачисляют в качестве боевого агента в отдел по борьбе с электронным бандитизмом. И когда неизвестный хакер начинает виртуозно кошмарить бизнес, грубо проникая в мозги лучших ученых компании с помощью инородных предметов, только первый в мире киборг с полностью синтетическим телом и встроенным генератором случайных мыслей и эмоций способен остановить произвол.
