Julie Tippetts (born Driscoll, 8 June 1947 in London, England) is a British singer. Performing with Brian Auger under the name Julie Driscoll, she gained worldwide recognition in the late 1960s. Julie Driscoll started singing at the age of 15 in London bars and clubs. Later, while working as a secretary to producer Giorgio Gomelsky, she met The Steampacket, which at the time included Brian Auger and Rod Stewart. Gomelsky, who was the band's manager, was looking for a singer and decided to introduce Julie Driscoll to the band members. After Steampacket disbanded, Julie Driscoll became the lead singer in Brian Auger's new band, The Trinity. Speaking with The Trinity, Julie Driscoll had between 1966 and 1969. many successful recordings (eg This Wheel's on Fire, Road To Cairo, Let the Sunshine in, Season of the Witch, Indian Rope Man).
