Another cool German privat, which balances on the verge of symphonic prog and exquisite jazz-rock. If the first piece Once I Had a Dream clearly hints at symphonic prog with its strong melodic finds, pleasant vocals and a flying flute, then later on the band delves into the delights of jazz-rock. The saxophone becomes the predominant instrument, and the electric piano is widely used. In general, it's hard to categorize the album in any particular style, but the record is very good. All instrumental variety is complemented by a synthesizer and even a mellotron, so the recording is highly original. It is always interesting to listen to such things - especially from the great Germans.
