Mini, perhaps the longest standing Hungarian progressive rock band, was founded in 1968 and, excluding a period of inactivity in the 80s through the 90s, still exists. After the first few years of covering international rhythm and blues and progressive rock hits, Mini gradually developed their own repertoire. By 1972 they were already one of the finest local progressive acts, using the striking combination of the flute, Hammond and bass. It may sound strange, but, compared to other artists, they were quite fortunate to have an opportunity to record in a professional environment. Fruit Pebbles compiles all the fine tracks from this early, classic period.
