10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!

Difficult encode. The show is very noisy, and no one who has encoded this show has committed to preserving all of the noise since that would result in ~9GB episodes (I tested). Dealing with the noise has its downsides no matter how you do it, so watching a JPBD remux certainly has its advantages if you're a grain lover. But watching on this encode isn't so bad either, since it fixes some aliasing, haloing, and an OP that is totally borked for much of cour 1.
But hold on, there are also color issues. [Here](https://slow.pics/c/WxZ5Mla2) are some extremely cherry-picked comparisons from various episodes that show that the JPBD suffers from blurred colors in many scenes. The problem exists in more than 80% of the runtime for cour 2, though it's normally not that big of a problem since the main "benefit" of the untouched chroma is nutty chroma noise.
