Hoppity Hooper became the childrens breakfast cereal character, Dig'em Frog, for Sugar Smacks cereal. This cartoon series prompted a law banning Saturday morning cartoon characters from being used to promote childrens' breakfast cereals. Prior to Dig'em, Sugar Smacks used Quick Draw McDraw, another Saturday morning cartoon character, as its mascot.
