DESCRIPTION
The British detective drama revolves around DCI Barnaby's efforts to solve numerous murders that take place in the fictional English county of Midsomer. The current lead character is DCI John Barnaby, who is the younger cousin of former lead character DCI Tom Barnaby. The Barnabys have worked with several different sergeants throughout the run of the show, including Sgt Gavin Troy, Sgt Dan Scott, Sgt Ben Jones and Sgt Charlie Nelson.

Series Plot: Based originally on the books by Caroline Graham, each self-contained episode of two hours is a classic whodunit revolving around Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby and his partner, and their efforts to solve the numerous gruesome murders which take place in the picturesque countryside of Midsomer County.
Episode plot: DCI Barnaby becomes an unwelcome guest at a society wedding after the maid of honour is found skewered to a wardrobe in one of the hotel bedrooms. However, with his own daughter Cully about to get married, will Barnaby be able to solve the grisly murder in time to walk her down the aisle?
